Nike Human Race 2009 - Hours, Minutes and Seconds… Not the Server Uptime for a Change!!

Nike human race 2009 was a yet another marathon mania, but still it reminded their promise and fullfilled agenda of 'Clebrating the Run'. Initially I was skeptical to register for this marathon or not, since it was in the evening and as everyone involved with running said that body needs to be tuned well if its odd timing run like the one Nike has organised, it was evening 4:30pm. But yes as usual got prompted to join...

The Nike+ Human Race 2009 24.10.2009, a 10k worldwide running event was back for its second year. This is a multi-city event. Nike said its all about celebrating the sport of running by giving runners everywhere the opportunity to run together. It was helf in 24 cities such as New York City, Los Angeles, Buenos Aires, Rome, Singapore, Paris, Seoul, Bangalore among others. In Bangalore the Race was organised amazingly giving the runners with a great running experience, it was @ clarks exotica county near Bangalore internationel airport.

As we entered the amphitere was sparkling with the gigantic stage and runners all over. It was all set to provide runners with a great running experience and to celebrate the the evening with fun, music and exciting festivities. It was truly a global event with facilities at international event parameters. Myself and two friends (Suresh & Pattu) participated in the race, we were all dressed up with the exciting Nike human race Red tees which was compulsary to wear and had a BIB on it. We all completed the race in 1h20m around, it was though running in hot sun of 4pm, but soon we forgot all the pain when the finish line approached and our dear friend was holding banner which read 'Feel the passion...this never ends...Manju, suresh & Pattu'. We all celebrated at the rock show, had fun, photo shots, food, beverages and relaxed for a while and headed to October beer fest @ palace grounds!!!!
