When to start...
Where you have passion from childhood or for accompanying your friend who wants to hike, it is never late to get out and start hiking immediately. While l spend last decade on the photography passion, and it is my long stayed hobby in life, one reason being it allows me to be part of nature, explore places, travel and capture moments for life. But last year it turned that hiking added to the photography or otherwise, all for good, the consistency prevailed and could finish 50 treks an year..!  Workouts in Real..!

Discipline..!
Regular trek would need lot of discipline and commitment, for the very reason that you cannot hike inside city or living room, you need to travel considerable distance to escape from the concrete jungle. While in this process you commit time and discipline to get up early mornings and be on time, which is important to get the whole gang move along. All these for the solid workouts in real, as the nature of hike requires quite a lot of physically taxing maneuvers while climbing up.

De-stress in Nature..!
Exposure to nature may be indispensable for human well being. We instinctively know that spending time in nature is great for both the body and mind, suggests that it can benefit our mental health.

Endurance with one self..!
Whether you’re hiking for two hours or backpacking for a week, the act of hiking is a great way to increase your aerobic endurance capacity. Hiking uphill or downhill, high above sea level or in baking heat, your body is moving at a steady pace for a long distance. Elevation changes on trails work your muscles both concentrically and eccentrically, providing balanced training. Depending on the altitude (distance above sea level) you are hiking at, your body’s aerobic capacity will be forced to grow due to availability of oxygen.

Socialize..!
Let’s face it: working out can be boring. There is no way around it, some days you just don’t want to work out or feel like you can’t properly focus on your exercises. Hiking takes care of that issue by making it easy to bring along a few friends to provide some engaging conversation as you head down the trail. Experiencing nature together with close friends is excellent bonding time, and a friend could be just the motivation you need to crush those last tough miles.

Capture in eyes and Camera..!
Well while photography need travel, the more you enjoy travel you can get closer to photography, while these both are related, the trek gives third dimension to it, the health benefit, along with travel and photography. It provides unlimited opportunities to photograph everything along the trail, just keep the eyes and mind open.

Adventure..!
The feeling of knowing you pushed through X amount of miles in sweltering heat up and down a steep mountain, never quitting when you really wanted to, is an amazing one.  Keep a journal or log of all your miles pounded out on the trail; you’ll be amazed at your list by end of the year, and that feeling of accomplishment will only push you to do more!
