A beautiful and serene hillock for treknic or cycling in North Bengaluru

Everything is hybrid these days from veggies to technology, the best of both worlds for good or profitability, similar one in the tourism world is the treknic, for those who wants to climb, but not the ones which are too hard, and want to be on top without effort, or want to do sight seeing combined with adventure and the work the "treknic" came in to existence. Which sounds bit relaxation and bit roughness.

While the pandemic has taken toll of the humans basic behavior which is being the social animal, we are made to hate the presence of others :) Of-course for the safety of everyone. The situations calls in to lookout for places with lesser crowd with open skies to enjoy the infinite views. I am suggesting place very well inside Bengaluru, where you can drive to top, or climb to top or cycle to it, or even trail biking to it..!

Ramalingeshwara Betta (Tumkur road) - North Bengaluru

This place is located around 50 kms from the city near Nelamangala/Hesarghatta. It's historical short hill and has Maralu Ramalingeshwara Temple at top. It's said that Lord Rama made Lord Shiva idol from mud and clay during his morning pooja and completed ritual at this place while Anjaneya was bringing Lord Shiva idol from kashi. Road till village here is good. Then one has to take a left turn and its off-road ride till top of the hill. Villagers are very helpful and guide you. One can see beautiful view of surrounding from top - greenery, train passing, Mountains. There is a very nice temple constructed here at top of hill. Also there is kalyaani. Please don't venture into this pond as its deep. Its also closed from all sides. One can view sunset and sunrise and its beautiful here. One can view Famous Shivaganga hill from here. Please don't litter the place. I felt this place can be better maintained with cleanliness and well suited for families treknic, bike ride or pure picnic. There is infinity pool also on top, I guess it is seasonal and gets filled during monsoon.
Note: Please don't litter the place, leave the place as if no humans ventured there earlier. Dispose the trash appropriately (Carry it back)
