Karnatakas only Plunge and Pool waterfalls
A falls that can give you amazing feel, for the location, trail and plunge. It is the package for trekking, a walk
along the scenic dense forest, numerous streams flowing along the path.
You can even go near the pool formed out of the water falls exactly and
even stand under the falls when the flow is not more. If luckly many
times there is rainbow formed under the falling waterfall. Each group of
visitor is accompanied by forest guard, so no mischievous behavior is
allowed and each group might get 2 hrs to stay.
Isolated waterfall featuring a stream of water that drops 300 ft. into a shallow pool, it is the koodlu Theerta water falls, located in the deep jungles of Udupi dist, Nadpal. It is inside the someshwara Wildlife Sanctuary range, which means there is no road to the falls directly, however one can trek 1.5 Kms from the Koodly falls forest check post. Allowed timing is from 9 to 3 PM only, there is charges for car park, entry charges and for the camera too, so keep cash in hand, there is not signal or ATM near the forest check post. Better to visit morning instead of evening, as there are chances of getting late and might miss the entry. Please note road is quote horrible for last 20 kms of the journey. It is literally off-roading and no proper markings, so chances of detours and missing roads will be common.
